Win big as an OSH member in our annual biggest shed contests!

Each year OSH will give away contest prizes for the biggest sheds in each of five species categories. The contest is open to sheds that have been found in any given year, not just 2008 or the current year. For example, you can enter a shed that you found 10 years ago. The contest runs from January 1st to December 31st of the current year. The biggest shed will be determined by the greatest percent increase above the minimum score to make the OSH Record Book. For example if you had a Non-typical Western Blacktail shed that measured 75 inches, this would be a 50% increase above the minimum score of 50 to make the OSH Record Book for this species category. Prizes are listed on the OSH Homepage.

Contest Categories

               •Typical/Non-Typical Mule Deer
•Typical/Non-Typical Western, Columbia, and Cascade Blacktail
               •Typical/Non-Typical Columbia and Eastern Whitetail
•Typical/Non-Typical Roosevelt and Cascade Roosevelt Elk
               •Typical/Non-Typical Rocky Mountain Elk

In order for a shed to be entered into the contests, you have to be an OSH member, the shed must be from Oregon, and the shed has to be measured by an Official OSH, Pope and Young, Boone and Crockett, or Northwest Big Game scorer. Entries need an official measuring sheet. Top entries may be entered into the Official OSH Record Book ($10 per entry).
In addition, OSH will be giving away a free one-year membership annually to the best shed hunting photo submitted. Send photos to osh@oregonshedhunters.com and they will be posted on the Members Shed Gallery Page. This contest is open to OSH members only, however non-members are encouraged to post pictures in the OSH Forum. The photo contest starts January 1st and ends December 31st.
